INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY (IJHS)
IJHS is supported by STS, and a prominent board of advisors. IJHS’s goal is to help its members get into top universities and win scholarships. Our Board of Advisors will interview members and write recommendation letters for them to apply for scholarships at top schools.
There will be many leadership roles for IJHS students, allowing them to make their contributions back to their local and global communities.
There are three levels of membership:
Note: Membership of IJHS will be free FOREVER, making it the first and only honor society that does not charge any membership fees.
How Can You Become A Member?
You can only be inducted to the IJHS after you win any combination of 3 significant awards as criteria for induction into IJHS from
2021 Academic year:
1. Win gold awards and above from SIMCC international local competitions
2. Win Distinction and above from ICAS competitions managed by SIMCC (only 1 subject will be considered)
3. Win Individual Silver award and above from SIMCC Global Finals
Who can become a Member?
Membership is open to all students from Grades 2 and above. Teachers will also be invited to join as members to help mentor our students.
The IJHS Academic Year
The academic year for IJHS induction will be from August 1 to July 31.
The IJHS Honor Roll will be released by September 1 of each year, and
members will enjoy benefits from October 1 to September 30.
Due to COVID-19, IJHS Honor Roll will be released in November 2020 instead.
